Board of Directors

Heather Ringoen

President

Heather joined the Board in 2019, and currently serves as President. Originally from Michigan, Heather's interest in hockey began at a young age while watching hockey with her dad.

Professionally, Heather is a relationship manager at Argos International, a non-profit that breaks the cycle of poverty for farming families in rural Central America.

Heather's children have both played for BHC. Currently, her son Josh plays goal for the Monarch High School Varsity team.

Prior to serving as Board President, Heather has served as Board Treasurer, Off Ice Division Director, Team Treasurer, and Team Manager throughout her time at BHC.

Dave Pigott

Vice President / Disciplinary Chair

Dave joined the Board in 2020, and currently serves as Vice President and Displinary Chair. Originally from Buffalo, NY, Dave is a Sabres fan and a proud member of the Bills Mafia.

A graduate of the US Military Academy at West Point and with a J.D. from the University of Colorado, Dave is currently Managing Partner at Hampton & Pigott LLP.

Marc Rosenberg

Treasurer

Marc joined the Board in 2021 and currently serves as Board Treasurer. Originally from the Chicago suburbs he grew up playing hockey for several club teams as well as York High School in Elmhurst (Go Dukes!).  

He has worked for Bank of America for the last 16 years as a Commercial Banker covering some of the largest Colorado-based companies. 

He and Melissa have three children, two of which play hockey. Luke was on the 14AA team and Ben was a senior on Monarch High School Varsity this past year.  

Before joining the board, Marc coached several BHC teams including 8U, 12A, and 14A.

Garrett Smith

Secretary

Garrett joined the Board in 2020, and currently serves as Board Secretary. Originally from the Buffalo, NY area, he didn't play hockey as a kid, but spent many nights watching Sabres hockey and started playing in his late 20s.

Garrett was a Paramedic in Buffalo for 10 years and since 2000 has been with ZOLL Medical Corporation's Data Division. As the Director of Sales Operations, he supports a team of 30 in bringing software solutions to Fire & EMS.

His sons both played at BHC - Jacob is now with the RoughRIders Tier I program and played on the 14AAA team and Braden was the goaltender for BHC 12A last Season.

Prior to joining the Board, Garrett served (with his wife Amy) as the 8U Division Director, de facto BHC IT guy, and as an assistant coach from 8U to 12U.

Scott Eisenstein

Board Member

Scott joined the BHC Board in 2023 and currently serves on the fundraising committee. A native of Staten Island, New York, he played hockey through high school and graduated from Arizona State University in 1998.

Scott has spent the last 25 years as a public relations executive working primarily in the Sports & Entertainment and Pro AV markets. Scott is also the co-owner of Tap Truck Denver, a mobile beverage catering company.

Scott’s son Jett will be a second-year Pee Wee and played on BHC’s 12U Futures team last season.  

Chris Gausselin

Board Member

Chris joined the Board in 2022. A native of Chicago, he played hockey growing up (a goaltender) along with his three brothers (1 more goalie and 2 defensemen).

Chris is the Principal of V3 Executive Communication, where he has traveled to 25 countries to speak, train, and coach executives.

Chris also serves on the board of directors for the Jack Jablonski Foundation in the Twin Cities, where he is on the communication team working with Jack on external communication. Jack's hockey story is one of inspiration and positivity.

All three of Chris' children have played for BHC. Last seaon, his daughter Shae was on the 14AA Lady RoughRiders, and his youngest, Grayson, played on 12A.

Mike Gold

Board Member

A Colorado native, Mike joined the Board in 2023. While he discovered his love of hockey later in life, it soon became a way of life that spilled over into his family life as well.

Both of Mike's sons developed their passion for the game at BHC. His oldest skates today for the University of Colorado, and his youngest, Elijah, played on the BHC 12U Futures team last season.

When not at the rink, Mike is a realtor serving our local communities helping individuals buy, sell, and manage their residential real estate.

Matt Huckins

Board Member

Matt returned to the Board in 2023 after previously serving as Vice President. Most recently, Matt served as BHC's 8U Hockey Director for the Roughriders.

Huckins has worked professionally as a coach or director for 25 years. He was the Boulder Hockey Club Hockey Director from 2001-2011, helping take the program to the USA National tournament for multiple years. From 2012-2019 Matt Coached U12/13/14/16 Tier I teams for the RoughRiders winning State and District championships with a National Championship appearance during that time.

Matt is currently the Director of Building Operations at blue Sport Stable.

Nick Pacifico

Board Member

Nick joined the board in 2020. He is a Colorado native and grew up playing for Hyland Hills from the time he was 3. He currently still plays in the Sports Stable Men's League and Lunch League.

Nick is the Dealer/Owner of Rickenbaugh Automotive Group which has three franchised Dealerships and three collision centers. He oversees 180 employees with 5 separate locations.  

Nick has been coaching at BHC since 2011 and has coached Midget Minor AA, Bantam AA, Midget Minor A, and 8U. He has three kids (Gino, Lia, and Siena), and Gino and Lia are playing at 8U this season. 

He is also involved as a coach at the Arvada West Youth Wrestling Club where Gino and Lia both wrestle. When he is not coaching/playing hockey or wrestling he can be found at the CrossFit gym training for the next competition.

Stacey Zis

Board Member

Stacey joined the board in 2020. She has been an active volunteer since 2008 filling many different roles including team manager and off-ice division director. Stacey also worked for BHC as the Director of Communication and Outreach from 2015-2017.

Professionally, Stacey works for a non-profit organization that conducts Higher Education policy analysis and research. She has recently completed a four-year term on a local school board and a one-year term on the CHSAA Board.

Stacey lives in Boulder with her husband Rick (a long-time BHC Coach). Her son Sam played at BHC starting at age 6 and also played for the Rocky Mountain RoughRiders and Monarch High School. He currently plays in the EHL for the Connecticut Chiefs.
